Club's Purpose The RV Mardi Gras Society exists to celebrate
and maintain the traditions from the old homeland in Germany. These
customs include electing a Prince and Princess
to oversee the annual Mardi Gras celebrations. These celebrations are
roughly equivalent to those held in New Orleans, Louisianna but with
a German flair. The Mardi Gras season begins in early November and ends
on the Monday before Ash Wednesday.
